Designing a label template: which fields to include
A good template shows little: the code, the name, one key attribute and a date.
Do not clutter the label with text. Keep the code large and clear, with the readable number below it, the item name and, if needed, size or batch.
Approve the template once and distribute it to every print station, otherwise labels that look different will cause confusion.
